Chewelah, WA – Monday, April 28, 2025 – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday afternoon on the northbound lanes of Highway 395, approximately four miles south of Chewelah, according to the Washington State Patrol. Emergency responders arrived at the scene following reports of a severe collision involving two vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and at least one other individual was airlifted for medical treatment due to injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved, and the events leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
