The fatal crash occurred at approximately 4:11 p.m. near milepost 26 when a westbound Toyota Camry, driven by 37-year-old Anthony Joel Estrada of Toledo, veered across the centerline and collided head-on with an eastbound Ford F-150. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced Estrada dead at the site of the collision. Authorities confirmed that the driver and two passengers inside the Ford F-150 suffered minor injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Officials did not disclose what may have caused Estrada to cross into oncoming traffic. The Oregon State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
