Rosemead, CA, October 19, 2025 – A man identified as Aric Verador Mesina, 30, tragically lost his life following an auto-pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in Rosemead, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal collision occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m. on the 10 Freeway just west of Rosemead Boulevard. Authorities reported that Mesina was struck by at least one vehicle while on the roadway. Despite emergency response efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.No additional injuries were reported, and the exact circumstances surrounding how Mesina came to be on the freeway remain under investigation. Traffic was temporarily halted as officials worked to clear the scene and gather evidence.

October 19, 2025 – Rosemead, CA – A 30-year-old pedestrian, Aric Verador Mesina, was fatally struck early Sunday morning on the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 10 (San Bernardino Freeway) just west of Rosemead Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision occurred at approximately 5:55 a.m. Previously released reports noted that more than one vehicle may have struck Mesina, though the full sequence of events remains under investigation.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced Mesina deceased. His identity was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office. Investigators are examining whether speed, visibility, impaired driving or other factors contributed to the deadly incident.
