Eugene, OR,June 24, 2025 – A 63-year-old man riding a gas-powered bicycle was injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Eugene, authorities reported.The collision occurred around 1 p.m. at the intersection of River Road and Federal Lane, according to the Eugene Police Department.Preliminary reports indicate the bicyclist was traveling northbound in the southbound bike lane when he was hit by a Toyota Sienna driven by a 31-year-old woman.The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His condition remains unknown.No additional details were immediately released as the investigation remains ongoing.
