Roseburg, OR – April 15, 7:00 p.m. – One person was injured in a bicycle accident Tuesday evening on West Harvard Avenue at the Interstate 5 northbound on-ramp, according to the Oregon State Police. A pickup truck was reportedly entering the ramp when it struck a bicyclist. The cyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was initially taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center. The bicyclist was later transferred to Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield for further treatment. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the events leading up to the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
