Chino, CA, September 20, 2025 – A bicyclist was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash Saturday evening in Chino. The collision occurred around 6:35 p.m. on September 20 in the 5200 block of Eucalyptus Avenue. Authorities said a male bicyclist was hit by a driver who fled the scene without rendering aid. The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police later located and arrested Jazmine Carreto on suspicion of hit-and-run causing injury.

According to the Chino Police Department, the collision occurred when a vehicle struck the bicyclist and fled the scene without rendering aid. Authorities later identified the driver as Jazmine Carreto, who was located and arrested in connection with the fatal crash. Emergency responders attempted to assist the bicyclist, but the victim died from injuries sustained in the accident. The identity of the bicyclist has not yet been released, pending notification of the family.
