BMW Driver Hits Scooter Motorcycle and Flees in Arlington Heights

On the evening of May 31, 2025, a hit-and-run incident occurred in Arlington Heights, Los Angeles, when a BMW struck a street-legal scooter motorcycle at the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Norton Avenue. The motorcyclist was found unconscious and not breathing at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital while CPR was being administered. The driver of the BMW fled the scene but later stopped at Crenshaw and Pico, where he contacted his brother. The brother advised him to pull over and subsequently called the police to report the location.
