An 18‑year‑old San Jose woman driving a white 2018 Tesla Model 3 northbound struck a southbound 2008 Harley‑Davidson motorcycle. The 61‑year‑old male rider and his 59‑year‑old passenger were ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. Both victims were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
