Exeter Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 65 Near Lindsay
Tulare County, CA – March 12 – A man from Exeter was killed, and another driver was injured following a two-vehicle collision early Thursday morning in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported that the crash occurred shortly before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 65 and Lindmore Street. Investigators said a 60-year-old driver operating a Ram 1500 was traveling northbound on Highway 65 when the driver attempted to turn onto Lindmore Street. During the maneuver, the truck reportedly turned directly into the path of a southbound Ford Ranger, leading to a head-on collision between the two vehicles. Following the impact, the Ford Ranger continued moving south before crashing into a nearby light pole. Officials said the 29-year-old driver of the Ford Ranger, who authorities reported was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
