San Bernardino, CA (October 22, 2025) – A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 210 near Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred around 1:02 p.m., when reports indicated that a female pedestrian was walking in the middle lanes of the freeway against the flow of traffic. Witnesses stated that the woman moved from the right shoulder into the active lanes before being hit by a white Toyota.Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the injured woman was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries. No other individuals were hurt, and authorities confirmed that no arrests were made as the investigation continues.
