Ismael Ramirez Identified as Victim in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on I-15 Near Jurupa Avenue
Ontario, CA – April 29 — A man has been identified as the person killed in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 in Ontario early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 4:47 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-15, just north of Jurupa Avenue. Authorities reported that a white sedan and a work truck were involved in the collision, which left both vehicles blocking multiple lanes of traffic. Initially, only the far-right lane remained open to passing motorists. Responding officers found one individual partially ejected from a vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, the victim was pronounced dead at approximately 5:06 a.m. He was later identified as Ismael Ramirez. Officials have not confirmed whether there were any additional injuries. Emergency personnel, including firefighters and paramedics, arrived quickly and performed CPR before the victim was declared deceased. The coroner was requested to the scene to assist with the investigation.
