Bakersfield, CA – Lister Mora Prudencio, 47, lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Sunday night along Edison Highway near the Mount Vernon Avenue overpass, according to the California Highway Patrol.The fatal collision occurred around 10:41 p.m., when a 46-year-old driver operating a 2004 Toyota Scion was traveling westbound on Edison Highway and struck the pedestrian.Tragically, Prudencio succumbed to his injuries at the scene.Authorities confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.Additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
