Long Beach, CA, June 27, 2025 – A man was shot and killed Friday evening in an underground parking structure, prompting a homicide investigation by Long Beach Police. The deadly incident occurred around 7:57 p.m. on June 27, 2025, at 5419 Paramount Boulevard. According to authorities, officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired in the area. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a bystander performing CPR on an unresponsive male victim. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived moments later and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Witnesses reported that two possible suspects fled the scene in a Kia sedan. The suspects’ descriptions remain unknown, and no arrests have been made at this time.
A fatal shooting occurred in late January 2025 within the underground parking structure of the Paramount Sheriff Station on Paramount Boulevard, Paramount, CA. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a man armed with a machete was inside the station’s substation garage when deputies arrived. Body-camera footage later revealed the suspect approached deputies despite repeated warnings while wielding the weapon. A deputy-involved shooting ensued, and the suspect was fatally shot at 12:15 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No deputies were injured during the incident
