Morena, CA – December 4, 2025 – A 35-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning after being hit by a vehicle while walking along Pacific Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. near 4850 Pacific Highway. Investigators determined that the man was walking in the northbound lanes as a 2004 Honda Civic approached. The driver, a 30-year-old woman, attempted to swerve right to avoid him but was unable to do so. The Honda struck the pedestrian and then crashed into a parked Toyota Prius along the east curb. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver remained at the scene and was not believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
