Bakersfield, CA, May 19, 2025– A man was killed late Sunday night after being struck by a car moments after crashing his vehicle in southwest Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department. The incident occurred around 11:14 p.m. near the intersection of Old River Road and White Oak Drive. Authorities said the man was driving a silver Infiniti coupe southbound on Old River Road when he lost control, left the roadway, and collided with a tree. After exiting the wrecked vehicle, the man was struck by a blue Honda sedan traveling in the same direction. The victim died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
