Investigators say the mini-bike rider was traveling through the intersection when a car turned in front of them and caused a collision. Following the crash, the 16-year-old driver of the car fled the scene without providing aid or contacting authorities. The injured rider was later transported to a local hospital for treatment of a leg injury. Police were able to locate and arrest the teenage driver, who now faces charges of hit-and-run causing injury.
