El Monte, CA, May 22, 2025 – A multi-vehicle collision early Thursday morning on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near the Baldwin Avenue off-ramp left one person injured. The California Highway Patrol reported the accident occurred around 3:06 a.m. A black Honda sedan was traveling the wrong way on the freeway when it collided with a white vehicle. A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. The driver of the Honda became trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated by firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The injured driver was then transported to a hospital for treatment.

On May 22, 2025, at approximately 3:06 a.m., a wrong-way driver caused a multi-vehicle collision on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway near the Baldwin Avenue off-ramp in El Monte, California. A black Honda sedan was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it collided head-on with a white vehicle, triggering a chain reaction involving a third vehicle. The driver of the Honda became trapped and had to be extricated by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel before being transported to a local hospital.
