One Killed, Another Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Harbor (110) Freeway in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, CA – July 5 — One person was killed, and another was hospitalised following a wrong-way collision on the Harbour (110) Freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 10:11 a.m. on the southbound Harbour (110) Freeway between Slauson Avenue and Vernon Avenue. According to CHP dispatch logs, a grey Honda Civic was travelling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a grey Nissan Murano. The impact blocked multiple freeway lanes and prompted a large emergency response. One person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person was injured in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the condition of the injured victim.
