One Killed, Two Injured in Head-On Crash on National Trails Highway
Oro Grande, CA – May 13 — One person was killed and two others were injured following a head-on collision Wednesday morning on National Trails Highway in Oro Grande, according to authorities. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 6:56 a.m. west of Robinson Ranch Road. Investigators said a burgundy Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling northbound collided head-on with a dark-colored Chevrolet Suburban traveling southbound under circumstances that remain under investigation. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and discovered the male driver of the Chevrolet Suburban trapped inside the vehicle with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters extricated a female passenger from the Suburban before she was transported to male passenger fSt. Mary Medical Center with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
