One Pedestrian Killed, Another Critically Injured in Los Angeles Crash
Los Angeles, CA, June 13 – One pedestrian was killed, and another suffered critical injuries after both were struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. near the intersection of Venice Boulevard and South Oak Street. Investigators said two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle under circumstances that have not yet been determined. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and pronounced one of the victims dead at the location. The second pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was transported for emergency medical treatment.
