Marina, CA, June 16, 2025 – A man lost his life after being struck by a vehicle Monday night in Marina, according to officials from the Marina Police Department.The fatal collision occurred at approximately 11:02 p.m. near the intersection of Reservation Road and Mbest Drive. Authorities say the male pedestrian was walking along the westbound side of Reservation Road when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle under circumstances still under investigation. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported the man to Natividad Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries. Following the accident, the westbound lanes of Reservation Road were closed for several hours as traffic investigators examined the scene. Officials have not yet released the identity of the deceased pedestrian. The driver involved reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
