Pedestrian Killed by Train on Roscoe Boulevard
Van Nuys, CA – May 1 — Authorities are investigating a fatal incident in which a pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Van Nuys on Friday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The incident was reported at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the 16000 block of Roscoe Boulevard. Preliminary findings indicate that the individual was hit by a Metrolink train while on the tracks, though the reason the pedestrian was in that area has not been determined. Police officers and emergency responders arrived shortly after the report and confirmed that the pedestrian had died at the scene.
