  • Terryl Ball Killed in Motorcycle Collision on Highway 58 in Klamath County

Klamath County, OR – May 3, 2025 – A 47-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a tragic collision on Highway 58 in Klamath County, according to the Oregon State Police. The deadly accident occurred at approximately 12:23 a.m. on State Route 58 at the intersection with Crescent Lake Highway. Authorities have identified the victim as Terryl Thomas Ball of Crescent Lake Junction. Preliminary findings indicate that Ball was riding a northbound Yamaha TW200 motorcycle when he entered Highway 58 from Crescent Lake Highway. As he entered the roadway, he collided with the side of a westbound Freightliner commercial vehicle and trailer operated by 32-year-old Hattan Seraj Alotaibi of Clackamas. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced Ball dead. The driver of the Freightliner remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. There were no reports of additional injuries . The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Oregon State Police. No citations or arrests have been reported at this time.

Tragically, Ball was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck, a resident of Clackamas, was uninjured.
