Three Juveniles Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Newton Way in Angwin
Napa County, CA – March 10 – Authorities are investigating a serious pedestrian accident that left three juveniles injured Tuesday evening in the Angwin area of Napa County, according to the Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit. The incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. in the 400 block of Newton Way. Preliminary information indicates that a vehicle struck at least three minors in the area. Officials have not yet determined the exact circumstances that led up to the collision. Emergency crews from the Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit and officers with the California Highway Patrol quickly responded to the scene after receiving reports of the accident. Paramedics provided immediate medical care to the injured juveniles before transporting them for further treatment. One of the victims was airlifted directly from the crash site to UC Davis Medical Center due to the severity of their injuries.A second juvenile was taken by ambulance to Angwin Airport, where a medical helicopter transported the patient to UC Davis Medical Center for additional care.
