Phoenix, AZ, June 26, 2025– A woman lost her life and a man was injured Wednesday night following a collision involving a dirt bike and a vehicle at the intersection of 16th Street and Southern Avenue, according to local authorities. The tragic incident occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m., when a man and a woman were riding together on a dirt bike and collided with another vehicle under still-unclear circumstances. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported both riders to a nearby hospital. Sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, while the male rider survived and is currently being treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver of the other vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
