Imperial County, CA – May 12, 2025 – One person was killed and two others were injured in a tragic head-on collision that occurred on Forrester Road in Imperial County on Monday morning. The crash took place around 9:20 a.m., north of Keystone Road, involving two vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 71-year-old woman driving a black 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound on Forrester Road when she drifted into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a white 2015 Honda Accord. The driver of the Toyota Camry was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released pending the notification of next of kin . The driver of the Honda Accord, a 31-year-old woman, and her 1-year-old passenger were both transported to Desert Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
