Fremont, CA – May 30, 2025 – One person was injured in a traffic collision Friday morning on northbound Interstate 880, just north of the Thornton Avenue on-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident was reported around 10:22 a.m. and involved a black Honda Civic that collided with another vehicle before overturning onto its roof . The driver of the Honda was able to exit the vehicle following the rollover. Emergency responders arrived promptly, providing medical aid at the scene. The injured individual sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
One Person Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-880 near Thornton Avenue in Fremont
On the evening of August 18, 2023, a multi-vehicle crash resulted in one person being injured on southbound Interstate 880 near Thornton Avenue in Fremont, California. The collision, which involved at least three vehicles, including a white Honda Civic and a Hyundai Elantra, occurred during evening traffic hours and caused significant disruption on the freeway.
Authorities reported that the Honda Civic sustained moderate front-end damage, while the Hyundai Elantra overturned onto its side due to the impact.
