September 17, 2025 – La Mesa, CA: Two people were injured, and one driver was arrested following a DUI collision late Wednesday night in La Mesa, according to local authorities. The crash occurred around 11:19 p.m. at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and University Avenue. Investigators said a 33-year-old San Diego man was driving a black Acura sedan when he collided with a silver Chevrolet sedan. The Acura driver was transported to Sharp Grossmont Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries before being taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. Another person also sustained injuries in the collision.
