2 Injured in Suspected DUI Crash near Selma in Fresno County
Fresno County, CA, April 29 – Two drivers were injured in a suspected DUI collision on Wednesday afternoon near Selma, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities reported the crash occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Temperance and Manning avenues. Preliminary findings indicate a Hyundai Accent was traveling westbound on Manning Avenue when it veered into oncoming traffic for reasons still under investigation. An eastbound driver in a Ford Ranger attempted to avoid the crash by moving into the westbound lane. However, the Hyundai reportedly swerved back into the same lane, resulting in a head-on collision. Both drivers sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their identities have not been released.
