Northridge, CA. – Two people were injured in a crash involving a suspect fleeing from police on Tuesday morning at an intersection in Northridge, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. at Balboa Boulevard and Nordhoff Street.LAPD officers initiated a pursuit of a parole violation suspect near Gresham Street and Darby Avenue. However, the chase was called off after the suspect began driving at dangerously high speeds . Minutes later, the suspect crashed into multiple vehicles at the intersection of Balboa Boulevard and Nordhoff Street .The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by police. Two people sustained injuries in the crash. Their conditions have not been disclosed.
