Los Angeles, CA. – Authorities have identified Anthony Medina, 26, as the victim of a fatal multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in East Los Angeles. The crash occurred at approximately 12:19 a.m. on March 22 on Interstate 5 at the E Cesar Chavez Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol. A Tesla, a BMW, and a Nissan were involved in the accident. Following the impact, the Nissan caught fire . Medina, who was driving the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
