A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on November 5, 2024, at around 7:16 p.m. on Airport Drive in Oildale, California, near Olive Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 59‑year‑old man was crossing outside a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a 2005 Toyota Tacoma traveling eastbound in the number two lane.
