The accident happened around 11:04 a.m. on State Route 78 near Centre City Parkway. Authorities reported that a red SUV collided with a black sedan under unclear circumstances. The SUV rolled over and landed back on its wheels on the right shoulder embankment. One person was trapped inside a vehicle and was extricated by firefighters.At least one individual sustained minor injuries in the accident . Authorities confirmed that DUI was a contributing factor, but further details were not immediately provided d  .Following the crash, Escondido police temporarily closed the onramps from Centre City Parkway to both eastbound and westbound SR-78.
