The chase concluded near West 48th Street and Creekside Drive, where four suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot into a nearby flood control channel. A CHP K9 unit was deployed during the foot chase and successfully helped apprehend one suspect. The remaining three juveniles were also detained shortly after. The suspect vehicle, which had continued westbound on 48th Street without a driver, veered into oncoming lanes before being stopped by a CHP officer using their patrol car. Authorities recovered multiple firearms from the vehicle, including an AR-style pistol and at least one drum magazine. All four suspects were confirmed to be juveniles.
