Gracie Meiggs and Efrain Martinez Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 5 in Yolo County
Yolo County, CA – March 10 – Authorities have identified two individuals who lost their lives in a wrong-way collision late Tuesday night on Interstate 5 in rural Yolo County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The Yolo County Coroner’s Office confirmed the victims as 37-year-old Gracie Ellen Pack Meiggs of Carmel and 30-year-old Efrain Maximo Martinez of Woodland. Officials reported that the crash occurred shortly before midnight on March 10 along Interstate 5 south of County Road 8. According to investigators, Martinez was driving a vehicle that entered the highway in the wrong direction.
