According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Fresno Street and Dakota Avenue. Investigators said a vehicle heading westbound on Dakota Avenue ran a red light and collided with another car crossing the intersection. The occupants of the second vehicle sustained significant injuries and were transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment. Their current condition has not been disclosed. The driver of the at-fault vehicle fled the scene on foot, leaving behind the damaged vehicle. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the suspect.
