Palmdale, CA, October 15, 2025 – A tragic car accident near Palmdale claimed the life of 40-year-old Jason Hutton on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 3:35 p.m. on East Palmdale Boulevard and 150th Street East. Authorities reported that Hutton was driving a 2004 Honda Civic southbound on 150th Street East when he attempted a left turn and was struck by a westbound 2010 Toyota Tacoma. Hutton sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other driver, a 35-year-old man from Lancaster, was taken to Palmdale Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. CHP stated that both drivers were wearing seatbelts and that impairment was not a suspected factor in the crash.
