Merced County, CA – November 2024 – Jeb Stewart Brandy, 52, of San Jose, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Volta Road early last month. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 32-year-old man from Los Banos was driving a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on Volta Road when he attempted to make a left turn into a driveway north of Highway 152. As he crossed the broken yellow line, the truck collided with the front of Brandy’s 2020 Suzuki motorcycle, which was traveling northbound. Brandy was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
