Los Angeles, CA – August 8, 2025 – A protest outside the Federal ICE Building in Downtown Los Angeles was dispersed by police Friday night, leading to multiple arrests. The incident began around 8:30 p.m., when a large crowd gathered near the facility, prompting an LAPD “help” call for additional officers. Authorities reported that demonstrators were occupying the sidewalk in front of the building.LAPD officers cleared the area and have since restricted access to both the sidewalk and the vicinity of the federal property. The number of arrests and potential charges has not yet been confirmed.
On Monday morning, August 11, 2025, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a protest at the Federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building in downtown Los Angeles.
