Los Angeles, CA – Authorities have identified 72-year-old Margaret Jackson as the woman who lost her life in a multi-vehicle crash Friday evening on the northbound 405 Freeway near Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood. According to reports, police officers and firefighters responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m., where they discovered Jackson trapped inside a vehicle. Despite efforts from emergency personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.The collision also left three others injured. An 80-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man were transported to the hospital in critical condition, while a 60-year-old woman was hospitalized in fair condition.A dditionally, a dog was killed in the crash, while another fled the scene but was later found. Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle accident.
