Moses Jimenez Identified as Victim in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Golden State (5) Freeway
Los Feliz, CA – January 18 – Authorities have identified the man who was killed in a deadly multi-vehicle collision that occurred early Sunday morning on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Los Feliz. According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was 28-year-old Moses Jimenez. The crash was reported at approximately 3:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway at Los Feliz Boulevard. Officials said multiple vehicles were involved, though the events leading up to the collision have not yet been determined . Officers with the California Highway Patrol and fire crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the crash. Investigators said Jimenez was ejected from one of the vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 28-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Four additional victims, including two 22-year-old men, a 35-year-old man, and a 61-year-old man, were also taken to a hospital and were reported to be in stable condition.
