Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on I-280 Near Eastmoor Avenue
Daly City, CA – April 29 — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a collision on Interstate 280 in Daly City on Tuesday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on southbound I-280, just north of the Eastmoor Avenue off-ramp. Early reports indicate that a sports motorcycle collided with a grey Toyota Corolla under circumstances that are still being examined. Authorities arriving at the scene found the motorcyclist lying in the slow lane, while the damaged motorcycle was blocking access to the off-ramp. The rider suffered significant injuries, including a broken leg, but was reported to be conscious and breathing at the time of rescue. Emergency personnel, including firefighters and medical teams, provided immediate assistance before transporting the injured motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
