Amador County, CA, October 22, 2025 – One person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision involving a school bus on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. on October 22 along Highway 88 at Hinton Road. Authorities said a man driving a blue Ford Ranger crossed over the double yellow lines and collided head-on with an oncoming school bus. The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries and was transported for medical treatment. Fortunately, no staff or students aboard the bus were injured in the crash. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
