Bakersfield, CA, May 28, 2025 – A man was seriously injured Monday morning in a collision involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle on Tejon Highway, just north of Mountain View Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred around 8:19 a.m. when a yellow cab semi-truck hauling double trailers collided with a gray Honda Accord under still-unclear circumstances. The impact of the crash left a male occupant of the Honda pinned inside the vehicle. Emergency crews arrived quickly and worked to extricate the trapped man. He was transported to a hospital with major injuries. In addition to the physical damage, approximately 100 gallons of diesel spilled from the semi-truck onto the right shoulder, creating a hazardous scene and requiring environmental cleanup.
Braiden Flynn Killed in Early Morning Crash at Golf Links Drive and East Natoma Street in Folsom
On May 28, 2025, a tragic two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Golf Links Drive and East Natoma Street in Folsom, California. Braiden David Flynn, a 20-year-old Folsom resident, was found unconscious and not breathing at the scene. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead at the location. The driver of the second vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Folsom Police Department’s Major Accident Response Team
