Paramount, CA, June 7, 2025 – Authorities responded to reports of looting and a protest that escalated overnight in the city of Paramount late Sunday into early Monday morning. The incident began around midnight, when a protest organized near the downtown area drew a large crowd. As the gathering intensified, some individuals reportedly began breaking into nearby businesses and looting merchandise. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene to disperse the crowd and restore order. Several stores suffered broken windows and property damage. At least a few individuals were detained, though no injuries have been reported at this time.
