Pedestrian Killed in Manhattan Beach by Suspected DUI Driver
Manhattan Beach, CA – May 3, 2025 – A tragic accident early Sunday morning resulted in the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a suspected DUI driver at an intersection in Manhattan Beach. The incident took place at approximately 12:45 a.m. near Sepulveda Boulevard and Duncan Place. Police reported that a driver struck the pedestrian for reasons that are still under investigation. First responders arrived at the scene to find the victim lying on the road next to the vehicle. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby trauma center, but despite efforts to save them, they were later pronounced dead. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victim or the suspect involved in the crash. The investigation is ongoing as officials work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
