San Diego, CA – June 1, 2025 – A pedestrian was fatally struck by an SUV early Thursday morning while attempting to cross northbound Interstate 805 near 43rd Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision occurred around 5:20 a.m. when the female pedestrian entered the traffic lanes and was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
