The accident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of 7th Street and Union Hills Drive. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle under unclear circumstances, and emergency responders quickly transported the victim to the hospital with serious injuries.

The vehicle involved was found at the scene, and both directions of 7th Street were temporarily closed as authorities investigated the incident.
