Malibu, CA, July 2, 2025 – Sophia Hutchins, a 29-year-old media personality and close friend of Caitlyn Jenner, tragically died on Wednesday morning after the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) she was operating plunged over a cliff in Malibu. The fatal crash occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. on July 2, 2025, in the 4300 block of Decker Edison Road, following a reported two-vehicle collision. According to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, Hutchins was driving a Polaris ATV when it was rear-ended by another vehicle, causing the ATV to veer off the roadway and tumble down a steep cliffside. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the ATV overturned in a ravine below. Tragically, Hutchins was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional injuries were immediately reported, and the other vehicle involved remained at the location as deputies began an investigation.
