Bellevue, WA – May 2, 2025 – An 18-year-old motorcyclist died Friday night following a crash with a car at the intersection of NE 8th Street and 116th Avenue Northeast in Bellevue, according to the Bellevue Police Department.The fatal collision occurred around 9:40 p.m. when the motorcyclist, traveling at a high rate of speed, collided with a westbound vehicle at the intersection. Bellevue Fire crews quickly arrived on the scene and attempted life-saving measures, but the rider succumbed to his injuries at the site of the crash. The driver of the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
